Meet our company members from 2020. This group of diverse talent ranges from ages 18-39.
With all different backgrounds and training they have learned to come together in one contemporary dance company.
Jacody began his journey in dance at an early age. His musical theater roles include Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Gideon in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Warner in Legally Blonde, the Genie in Disney's Aladdin. Most recently Jacody was awarded an AriZoni award for best actor as the role of Shrek. Last season he starred as Marc Antony in Cleopatra.
Bailey began dancing at the age of 2. In 2013, she graduated from Basha High School as a member of the National Honors Society for Dance Arts. In recent years, Bailey has attended MCC and SCC and was a member of the Scottsdale Arizona Jazz Ensemble. Today, she continues to master several dance techniques with the aspiration to leave Arizona and further develop her dance arts career.
Ben was born in Queens, New York. He moved to Arizona at the age of 9 and began taking classes at Desert Star Dance. After several years of training, Ben began teaching for DSD and hopes to attend a university with an excelling dance department, and eventually move back to New York to experience dance in the big city.
Originally from Long Island, NY, Shanna started her dance education at 8 yrs old. Shanna's passion in life is to instill a love of dance in all her students. Shanna strives to create a warm and caring environment in which her students can learn, grow and thrive. She is looking forward to another season with Rogue!
Brooke is 25 years old and grew up in Peoria, Illinois. She hasnt stopped dancing since the age of 2, and started acting in Musical Theatre shows at the age of 7. Brooke is currently working on her Elementary Education degree to be a school teacher.
Ben is studying Dance at the University of Arizona. He is seeking a Bachelor of Fine Arts in hopes of pursing dance as a career. In addition to dancing all day, he teaches in the Tucson area, and is a barista at Starbucks in his spare time. This is Ben’s second year dancing with Rogue Dance Theater.
Cheyenne was born and raised here in the valley. She trained under the instruction of Michelle Grady and Jacody Bullard at Arizona Edge. Cheyenne is moving to Tucson in the fall to attend U of A where she hopes to pursue a career in dance and other performing/visual arts.
Isiah began his training at the age of 13. He is currently a sophomore at Grand Canyon University, studying to receive his B.F.A in Dance. Isiah now teaches at Diamond Dance Works and is dancing with Rogue Dance Theatre as a member of the chorus as well as an understudy for the Butler in their production of And Then There Were None.
